Hello,
My name is Kirsten. I am a recent graduate from the Elementary Education Program at the University of Victoria and have taught most recently in a Northern Quebec Cree community as a full time substitute teacher. I have experience as a nanny for three children aged 2, 4, and 7 and enjoy music (I play piano by ear) and soccer. I love the outdoors and being active and I am Metis on my mother's side. I am a twin and I have one other sister. I am very outgoing and fun-loving and I am great with kids!
I have my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Victoria in Elementary Education. I have worked with students from Grades K-6 as a substitute teacher and in practicums through UVic.
I have worked most recently as a nanny in Victoria for a and a half year old boy and two girls, 2 and 4.
I have also worked as a nanny for children ages 2, 4, and 7 in Quebec (French speaking family). I also tutored and taught an art class in the community and cared for a 3 year old girl part time.
I have worked at Whitehorse Childcare Center as a Daycare Worker with infants, toddlers, pre-school, and school aged children.
I have worked as a Youth Events Coordinator at Wachiay Friendship Center in Comox B.C., where I planned an led various outdoor activities and a soccer and art camp.
I have volunteered as a Sunday School Teacher in Mt. Lehman, B.C.
