My name is Cara . I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I have worked with children for 7 years teaching English in South Korea and am a mother. I am a friendly person who always sees the bright side of things. I love to travel, practice yoga, I like reading, singing, and tea. I am looking forward to working with, and getting to know you.

Recently, I had the fortunate opportunity to teach in South Korea for four years. The experience has opened my eyes to new ways of living, and working. I was able to learn to adapt and be creative while in any situation. During my time teaching in Korea, I worked with kids from ages 2 to 17 years of age. Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum and meeting the needs of each individual student's learning ability. Since that time I have been a nanny for families with children ages 12 months to 2 years old. I have also completed preschool and kindergarten placements. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have an up-to-date criminal record check with vulnerable sectors completed and first aid.

I attended the University of Ottawa and completed a bachelors degree with a concentration in Philosophy (2001-2005). I also completed my TESOL certification in May 2007 and I am now currently in my last year, studying Early Childhood Education at Algonquin college. (Graduate April 2014)
