We are looking for someone primarily to care for our two school aged children after school, and also someone who could start one to two hours before our children arrive home from school to help with housekeeping, meal preparation, organizing, etc. We have a twelve-year-old girl who has Down syndrome and a ten-year-old boy. Our daughter goes to a school for children with an intellectual disability and is dropped off at home by the bus and our son goes to the local French language school and is dropped off at the bus stop around the corner. There is no need for concern as far as taking care of our daughter, it really is not much different than taking care of our son or any other child, other than her speech being severely delayed so she is sometimes difficult to understand (although our son can provide translation services most of the time!). The schedule would be Monday to Wednesday from about 1 to 5:30 pm, however, there can be some flexibility so we can work something out that would work for all of us. We require receipts for childcare expenses, so income must be declared. Looking forward to hearing from you. Christine
