Our family is currently looking for a full-time enthusiastic, fun, caring & active caregiver to care for our three sons, aged 1, 3, and 5 in the SE community of Lake Bonavista in Calgary. Responsibilities: • Supervise and care for children in employer's residence • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children • Prepare formulas and change diapers for infants • Oversee children's activities, meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer • Prepare infants and children for rest periods • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Tend to the emotional well-being of children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise (within walking distance) • Plan, prepare and serve meals for children • Take children to and from school (within walking distance) • Maintain a healthy environment in the home • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child. • Laundry, and housekeeping duties as negotiated • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Other duties as appropriate We require at least 2 years of work experience and completion of a caregiver course, first aid and CPR (to be provided if required). Basic security clearance, criminal record check, child abuse registry check and child welfare check required or willing to acquire. Salary: $14.00 hourly depending on experience.
