Salary: $12/hour Job Type: Full Time, Live Out/Live In, Contract Language: English Start Date of Employment (approx.): August 01, 2017 Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 1 NOC Group: Babysitters, Nannies and Parent's Helpers (4411) NOC Job Title: Child caregiver - Private Home Job Description We are looking for a nanny (live out, live in may be considered) to care for our 2 children (almost 4 years old on planned start date) in our home in Tsawwassen, BC (nearest major English Bluff Rd & 7A Ave). Job Duties: - Supervise and care for our children in absence of parents - Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development - Tend to emotional well being of children - Oversee children's activities, such as meal, rest periods, games, play and exercise - Take children to weekly music class, Strong Start or library using public transportation - Maintain a healthy and safe environment in the home - Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tending to children's laundry - Simple meal preparation may be required - Follow parenting principles outlined by parents Employment requirements: - Successful completion of secondary school (or equivalent education) - Successful completion of a training program in child care - First aid and CPR - Proficient oral and written English language skills - Criminal record check required Wages and Benefits: - $12 per hour, 40 hours per week - includes WCB This position requires someone who can be flexible with their schedule, as the caregiver may be asked to work some evenings and/or weekends.
