We are looking for a full-time nanny to replace our existing one who is going to school. We have 3 children (boy - 4 1/2, boy - 6, girl - 9). All 3 children are in school full time. The role requires an individual who is loving, but can be firm when necessary. We are seeking someone who can organize/feed our children in the morning, walk them to school and pick them up at the end of the day. An average day is 8am to 6pm (with our kids in school between 9am-3pm). Other responsibilities include homecare during the day - laundry, making beds, tidying home, light grocery pick-up and preparing meals (dinner, and lunches for the following day). We would really like a nanny who enjoys working in the kitchen and is / considers themselves to be a good cook. In addition to general childcare, we require an individual with a relatively strong command of English to spend approximately 1 hour (total) after school helping/encouraging our kids to do their homework. During the summer months (July - August) our children will attend various camps, but there will be weeks when they are home for the entire day (as well as PA days during the school year) where we would look for our nanny to engage with our children (going to parks, playing Lego, etc). Our home is in a convenient location: 200 meters from our children's school, 500 meters from the grocery store, 1.1 km from Victoria Park subway station.
