***JOB POSITION DETAIL*** We are seeking a night nanny for a temporary/part-time position of 8 weeks (approximately 2 months) and perhaps longer as may be needed. The successful candidate will be required to work on Tuesdays and Saturdays overnight from 11 pm to 9 am (10 hour shifts), for eight weeks. Work on other nights may also be requested of the candidate, depending on our scheduling needs and the candidate's availability. The ideal candidate must be a patient, caring, loving and reliable person who is experienced and capable of working independently to provide care to our 2 month old daughter during the night, and let us, the tired parents, get some much needed rest. ***ADDITIONAL INFORMATION*** The primary duty of the chosen candidate will be to provide care giving to our 2 month old daughter during the work shift, however, some light house keeping duties may also be required, such as laundering the children's clothes, washing and sterilizing bottles, etc. Our 2 month old daughter, to our knowledge, is normal, and is not a special needs child. She generally sleeps well through the night, averaging 2 to 3 hours, sometimes 4 hours, between feedings. She is bottle fed on breast milk. Sometimes, she can be fussy and may require caregiver attention to get her to sleep, such as being held in a cradle position or upright for 10 to 15 minutes until she falls asleep. The work environment will be in a three bedroom, two storey, detached house with a finished basement. It is a pet and smoke free environment. and is located near Danforth Avenue and Donlands Avenue (Donlands Subway Station). ***CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS*** - Prefer minimum 6 years experience working with infants, preferably from 2 months to older. - CPR Training preferred - First Aid training preferred - Police Check is required - Must be eligible to work in Canada ***OTHER*** - We thank all applying candidates in advance.
