We are currently looking for a full time nanny (35-40 hours per week) who will work in our home and care for our daughter (almost 16 months). We are looking for someone who will be a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion for our daughter. We are hoping to find someone who loves our daughter almost as much as we do, and who really wants to become a part of the family. Responsibilities: Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child Supervise the child’s activities at all times Plan and prepare meals and bottles for, and feed, the child Dress the child Place the child down for naps Bathe the child (if necessary) Change diapers Potty train the child (when it's time) Perform housework related to child care, including washing the child’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles Teach her good social manners Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children Discipline the children, when necessary Administer medicine to the children if needed Qualifications: First aid training and child and infant CPR Authorization to work in the Canada English proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for a young child Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision High school graduate Experience caring for children Training in early childhood education preferred Comfortable with small dog
