Hello / Bonjour / Hola, We have 2 children, 6 and 3 years old, plus a cat. My husband works full-time, and I work part-time but am a shift-worker with a constantly changing schedule - days and occasionally evenings, rarely nights. We are in search of someone who can help look after the children, including pick-up at school by car on some days. We can provide the car if necessary, but a Quebec driver's license is essential. We also need help with housekeeping. Hours would vary, anywhere from 2-8 hours a day, with an average of about 30+ hours. About us, we like to keep things simple and down-to-earth. The kids get zero screen time. We value gentle but firm discipline. We take trips to the mountain, the park, the library, and occasionally the biodome, with skating in the fall and swimming in the summer. The kids love to read and be read to, cook, do yoga, sing, run around, and dabble in every kind of craft activity.
