We are a couple looking for a caring and mature nanny who has experience with children to take care of our 18 month old daughter. A flexible schedule is essential with regards to our professional obligations. We are also looking for someone who lives close by to us (H2R 2C3), ideally less than 3 km. Our current nanny is unavailable until further notice and we need to replace her temporarily. Important caracteristics that the person we are looking for must have: safe, affectionate and loving, honest, trustworthy, patient, discreet, efficient and spirited, able to give our daughter a structured environment. We also need this person to accomplish daily and weekly household chores including but not limited to: keeping the house clean and tidy, making our daughter’s meals, cleaning the whole house once a week, laundry (clothes/ linen/ sheets/ towels), occasionally running errands as directed, preparing or heating up the family diner as directed, etc. We live in a small house (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) in the Villeray borough. We are situated 6 minutes by foot from both De Castelnau and JeanTalon metro stations. We also have a very friendly cat. Workdays would begin at 6:30AM. The time at which we come back home may vary from 15:30 to 18:30 and rarely later without advance notice. The total work week will be from 30 to 40 hours per week, sometimes more and sometimes less. These work hours will most often be spread over 4 days, sometimes 3 days and rarely 5 days per week. The person must be able to be “on call” (meaning available to come over to our house in a short delay) on evenings, nights and week-ends during 1 week every 2 months (travel fare reimbursed, bonus for these weeks). Proposed salary is 15$ per hour. Receipts for tax purposes will be manditory. Non-smoking. References required. Must provide proof of capacity of legal employment in Quebec (valid work permit or permanent residency). Approximate start date: as soon as possible
