Looking for patient and fun Nanny!

KS
Active:

Hello nannies! Looking for a reliable, punctual, patient, active and nurturing individual to care for our 6 year old girl and 4 year old boy starting anytime between now and the first week of January 2017 (flexible on start date between now and then) Hours are roughly 8am to 4pm Full drivers license required but can use family's automobile while on duty We encourage the kids to be active. So we need a nanny that can bike ride, swim and hike/walk. Reliability and punctuality are very important to us. When the children are at school, we’d expect that time to be used running small errands and grocery shopping, tidying the children’s play spaces, washing their clothes and bed linens and/or planning creative projects or events for the children. We would also like the nanny to be a child manager in the sense that they are active in planning and arranging the children’s schedules, knowing what is needed for the upcoming school week and helping to prepare for these events (the kids have show and tell, special snack days, field trips, baking etc) Dad performs in a band that tours from time to time so when he is gone, we need a system in place so the typical day is extended to 5:15pm. An extra 75 minutes a day. Typically in the past we would pay the nanny consistently 40 hours a week. When my husband travelled and the nanny worked overtime, she would take days off to bring the hours back down to 160 work hours in a 4 week period. My husband will be on tour for 3 weeks in February, 3 weeks in March and 3 weeks in April. He’ll have more commitments in July/August. The other times of the year, he works from home and can assist in support for the nanny when the unexpected arises. We can offer 3 paid sick days per year Thank you and look forward to hearing from you!
