This position is to start soon for the rest of the summer, but then continue with fewer hours during the year. It would be ideal for someone with another PT job or currently in college or university. Hours for the summer would be 9:30-4:30 or similar for 3-4 days per week, depending on candidate's availability. Then it would be an after-school pick-up position for again, 3-4 days per week, but just 3 pm-6 pm. My son is a bouncy, chatty active 5 year old with a big imagination who likes to play with his toys, go on adventures in High Park and do other fun things in the neighbourhood. He is going into SK (at Howard PS) in the fall, and his typical routine is to play with his friends in the school yard and then come home for some crafts and quiet play until 6:00. He is an only child and views his childcare provider as a playmate, to give you a sense of his personality. He loves music, nature, books, crafts, and did I mention talking? The reason that the pay scale starts at $15 is that I am interested in someone who has experience with children in some sort of formal capacity - as a nanny, camp counsellor, tutor, ECE, etc.
