In-Home Caregiver needed for 2 children Ages 4 and 2 in Richmond BC (Blundell Road/ No. 3 Road) Duties and Responsibilities: Take children to and from school and to appointments; Supervise and care for children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Bathe, dress and feed children; Help children with homework; Prepare children for rest periods; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; shop for food and household supplies. Requirements: Speak Read and Write English (speaking Mandarin is a bonus but not required) CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate. Clear police records. Non-smoker. Professional training in Childcare or related work experience is preferred. Completion of High school. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
