We are a family of three (plus a very loving six-year-old pup) looking for a part- or full-time perfect fit Nanny to work with us as close to full-time as is possible in September, with the possibility of continuing part-time with us thereafter. Our three-year-old guy *loves* books, all things solar system, dancing and singing, The Magic School Bus, learning about the senses, and earning stickers on his activity chart. He's an imaginative, thoughtful, and funny little person who loves deeply, has a curious mind and a kind and generous heart. He adores crafting as much as he likes outdoor games, asks for popsicles hourly(!), and has a pretty impressive memory and vocabulary. Mom and Dad are active and committed parents as well as dedicated hard workers. Mom is a researcher who works from h"er home office and Dad is a banker who works downtown. We are seeking someone whose energy and ideas will help our Son continue to discover and grow, and who can help manage our busy household. The caregivers that we have worked with are clean and organized and as willing to work with our parenting approaches and ideas as they have been able to and interested in contributing ideas and approaches of their own. They have been energetic and driven (there's no sitting around on this job!), they teach, guide, and grow (not just monitor) our Son, and they are excellent time and household managers. These qualities as well as communication and trust are key, and we will not settle for anything less.
