Hi, we are a fun and loving family of 3 located in NW Calgary looking for a babysitter/part-time nanny to help care for our smiley 13-month old son. We are looking for a nurturing and trustworthy individual with a happy disposition to help watch our son 1 to 2 afternoons a week (approx. 12-5:00pm, exact hours and days can be somewhat flexible and can vary weekly if needed) and 1 to 2 evenings a month (most likely a Friday or Saturday). We are searching for someone who is comfortable with changing diapers, feeding, playing and putting our son down for sleep. Someone who is comfortable with very light housework (i.e. sweeping kitchen floor, toddler laundry etc.) is also desirable, but would only be expected if there is time while our son is napping. Additional must-have qualifications include at least 3 years of childcare experience, a current First Aid/Child CPR certification, can speak English, are of a Christian denomination or are non-religious, are a non-smoker and can provide at least 2 work related references. Some level of post-secondary education in any field would also be considered an asset as well as having a valid driver’s license and car. We are fairly easy going parents and believe everything in moderation. We have been told by family and friends that our little guy has a very good disposition and our main goal is to raise a respectful and kind hearted child, so it is important to us to find someone who respects our values. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for some part-time work and requires a bit of flexibility given their own work/personal situation. We are more than willing to work with someone’s schedule and wage expectations if they are the right fit for our family!
