We are looking for an experienced caregiver for our twin boys (almost age 3). Our boys enjoy learning new things, such as art, music, physical activities, reading and dance. They have been raised to value acting kindly to others, showing good manners, respect and learning skills to help them be independent. We have recently moved here from Europe and would like to maintain the good behaviour and eating habits they learned at an early age. We are currently seeking a part-time nanny for 1-2 years (or more) with the following skills: - understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities - ability to use the following activities in everyday play; art, music, dance, singing, - good cooking skills and a willingness to have the children participate in food prep/cleanup - an ethnic background and ability to speak another language preferred - a willingness to maintain good manners and discipline through reasoning - a willingness to take the boys out on "field trips" via walking, car or train - current police background check - ability to do light house work/food prep occasionally The personality of the person who would best fit the needs of our twins/family: - responsible (punctual, reliable, dependable) - fun-loving and creative (ability to think of fun activities to try) - dynamic (personally enjoys different activities and being out and about in the community) - willingness to share your own culture/language/cooking with our family We are looking for care for our twins on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 am-5 pm. This could expand to more hours/days and a few evenings a month should the relationship go well and the fit work out with our family.
