We are looking for an Art Tutor for our sweet 17 month old daughter. The Art Tutor will engage her in a variety of arts and craft projects such as colouring, painting, collage, papier-mâché and sculpture. Seasonal projects relating to upcoming holidays and events such as Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, etc., would also be appropriate. While a lesson plan isn't necessary, we would expect the Art Tutor to suggest and lead activities for creative and fun sessions with our daughter keeping in mind that she does have a limited attention span given her young age. The Art Tutor would be expected to indicate in advance supplies needed for the activities they have planned. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who our daughter will enjoy spending time with! We are looking for an Art Tutor who genuinely enjoys working with kids and is interested in their education and development. A parent will be present during sessions until such time as mutually agreed upon. The lessons will occur at our home. We are in the West End, close to public transit. This is a flexible position - lessons can occur at a mutually convenient time. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be someone with a genuine interest in art and experience with art making. Experience working with toddler is required. You must be 21+ and able to pass a criminal record check.
