I'm looking for support with my 14 yr old son on the autism spectrum. He's usually a mellow happy guy. He likes swimming, bike riding, neighbourhood walks, music, interaction with others..and potentially other activities yet to be discovered..such as yoga. This position involves community outings. I'm looking for someone to help encourage his potential..working on independent life skills and communication. This includes preparing meals/snacks with him. He has a significant deficit with communication/expressive language. He doesn't carry on a conversation, but has good comprehension and is a good reader. We live in Kitsilano, near 5th and Vine.
