$13.50 an hour / Negotiable Salary We are looking for a permanent full time child care provider/nanny for our 8 month old boy starting in November 2016. Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident to apply. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability and someone who is highly organized to maintain his schedule. We are looking for someone who will enjoy being in the company of our son, who is a very happy child and adores his playtime and interaction. Our home is located in the SW of the city, near to Mission and Stanley Park. This job is Monday-Friday (7 – 4.30 negotiable) 40-50 hours a week. Own transportation would be a bonus. Flexible on start date between now and end of December for the right candidate. Main duties include: • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Prepare baby for naps and rest time. • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Supervise and care for baby. • Keep records of daily activities and health information. • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. (To be agreed upon at beginning of contract) • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Care for family pet.
