Hello, we are a family of four plus two little dogs and are looking for a fun, enthusiastic & reliable live-out caregiver Starting November 1, 2017 (20 - 30 hours/week). Requirements are: an active individual who loves children and loves to be around them (someone who can get down to their level and be silly with them as well as play sports ie. soccer, frisbee with them at the park); Punctual, reliable, flexible, personable, & ambitious; First aid/CPR as well as police clearance; Secondary school or equivalent; (post secondary education would be an asset); 1 year previous caregiver experience with toddlers and/or children under 7; Must speak/read/write english; Must have valid class 5 drivers license (we will provide our vehicle for picking the boys up from school or driving them to an activity); Someone who can cook; Good with dogs (we have two small dogs under 15 lbs). Taking excellent care of our children is our main concern (engaging them in games & activities, preparing snacks and meals for them). We are looking for someone who understands what is required to run a household and steps in where needed. Light housekeeping, and preparing/cooking dinner would be part of the regular duties.
