We are a family of 5 including 3 children (ages 10, 8 and 5 years old) living in East Van (Dickens Catchment) and we are looking for afternoon - early evening Childcare/Housekeeping help. Most important is that the Childcare/Housekeeper is good with children, conscientious and trustworthy. Prior experience and references required. Our current housekeeper/childcare provider worked for us for three years, has become part of our family and is leaving to complete her degree in dentistry. Housekeeping Responsibilities: Laundry General Cleaning Dinner Prep & Cooking Straightening Childcare Responsibilities: Taking kids to after school activities Entertaining one or two children while parent is out with other Some school pick up Just being an extra set of hands and a responsible adult in the house A qualified candidate will be a self starter, independent worker, takes initiative, have experience and apply that experience to the day to day routine. We are looking for a partner in the management of the family and home.
