My name is Lisa, and my son is 9 months old. We are working with another family based just across the Burrard St. bridge in Kitsilano. The plan is to have our nanny come to their home in Kits for 2 days/week, and come to our home in Yaletown for 2 days per week. There is a potential to work 5 days per week (we're sorting out the details now). We are looking for care Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:30pm, starting December 7th. We are looking for an animal lover (the Kits home has two cats and two dogs). And it's extremely important that the kids read books, go for walks, and play. We don't want them to sit in front of screens for entertainment. There are two boys: A) 1 year old, very happy and social, loves singing and going outside, is crawling and has just started to walk B) 9 months old, also happy and social, loves jolly jumping, isn't crawling yet You: ideally have either ECE, or years of experience working with kids. You are comfortable working with two little guys at once. You have ideas about learning and development that would be good for them, and you are comfortable cooking or preparing their meals. We are envisioning this as a contract position, where you would be paid hourly. This relationship will last as long as it's working for all parties. We would start with a 3 month contract, then extend it to a year. We need to make a decision quickly, so we're looking to interview people during November 19th/20th. Or the following week.
