We are looking for a live out Nanny starting in January/early February to care for our three children: twin boys turning one in February, and a little girl turning five in January. Our daughter is an active little girl who loves art, reading, playing at the park, using her imagination and helping out mommy and daddy. She attends afternoon kindergarten in a French immersion program at the local catholic school. Our twin boys love their sister, are enjoying discovering their new skills of crawling, picking up toys, laughing and waving. They play together well, and have very different personalities emerging. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience looking after multiple children as a parent or full time caregiver; • Truly enjoys interacting with children, as providing a loving and enriching environment for the children is the priority; • Embraces a supportive, positive reinforcement and redirection approach to behavior coaching, with discipline techniques such as time outs and loss of privileges used only infrequently; • • Is reliable and able to commit to a regular daily schedule from 8:00 – 4:00; • Is able to prepare and feed nutritious meals following parental guidance (but we are open to your own creativity!); • Is willing to provide care for sick children (colds); • Is able to walk our daughter to and from school daily for afternoon kindergarten, with her brothers in the stroller; • Is willing to support the household with light chores when children are napping or playing independently, which we believe is important (dishes, folding laundry, prepping meals, etc). • Is a non-smoker. The ability to support our daughter’s studies by practicing French vocabulary and/or speaking French at home would be an asset.
