Position Overview: Our Client is seeking an experienced hands-on Housekeeper to join a team in a sophisticated but informal household. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable in the kitchen, is an experienced confident housekeeper, and enjoys a busy environment. The ideal candidate will be someone seeking a long-term, full-time position. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm. Flexibility and some weekends are required.  Primary Responsibilities • Regular daily housekeeping of two floors, the ground floor and the main floor including two kitchens • Regular end of day detailing of these same two floors • All outdoor cleaning during the spring/summer season, including cleaning patio area and poolhouse • Participation with trade management • Following a basic monthly household maintenance schedule • Back up for the chef in the kitchen in terms of chopping, prepping simple recipes • Assisting with all entertaining in the home • Answering the door and phone as required • Seasonal deep cleaning and special projects as required • Taking care of the household china and silver • Keeping all cupboards and storage in the first two floors organized • Conducting household inventories as required • Care of automobiles • Answering door, greeting guests and visitors • Running household errands as required The Successful Applicant: • Is service-oriented, discrete, and respectful • Has a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role • Has excellent mastery of the English language • Has a valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record • Has basic cooking skills • Is a thorough and careful cleaner with knowledge of all cleaning skills • Has an excellent eye for details • Is quick on their feet with an excellent work ethic and time-management skills • Is a confident individual who is able to think for themselves and work independently • Is willing to pitch in under any circumstances, regardless of the task • Has a genuine commitment to professional housekeeping • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Salary is commensurate with experience Interested applicants should apply to Diane Muromoto Please refer to Job ID: 17549
