Seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to work in multiple private residences in Calgary. The position will work mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening work as required. The Part-time Housekeeper’s primary objective is to provide domestic housekeeping support. Duties and Responsibilities • Provide high quality housekeeping in a professional, courteous, and accommodating manner; • Conduct all housekeeping duties including floor cleaning, bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, bed making, laundry, polishing, and all other cleaning duties as assigned; • Tidying and organizing of rooms, closets, and storage spaces; • Ensuring garbage, recycling, and compost is taken out; • Seasonal deep clean and special household projects; • Maintain standard of household cleanliness; • Assist with weekly shopping, errands, and groceries as required; • Assist with the planning, preparation, and hosting of private social events; • Maintain all household furnishings and appliances in excellent condition, coordinating repairs and cleaning; • Ensure indoor and outdoor plants are maintained; and • Assist with other duties as required. Qualifications and Requirements • Provide own transportation and valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record; • Ability to climb stairs, bend, and lift 20+ pounds; • Successful completion of a background check; Preferred Skillset To meet the challenges of this role, the ideal candidate must be energetic, trustworthy, flexible, able to work well alone, efficient, open to direction, and have excellent communication • Possess strict confidentiality; • Take initiative; • Proficient in domestic housekeeping, including maintenance of fine furnishings, fabrics, and appliances; • Efficient and detail oriented; • Possess an excellent attitude and communication skills; • Possess a strong work ethic; and • Comfortable around pets.
