We are looking for a capable, kind-hearted individual to care for 2 seniors between 4pm and 12am, Saturday and Sunday. The job will mostly entail care for a senior palliative gentleman with multiple health problems, including dementia and deafness. The job involves colostomy care, super-pubic catheter care, pain management, bed care management and assistance with physio support as he has just returned from hospital and sustained a leg fracture. The job will involve some lifting and experience working with an ambulatory patient. We need a high energy person with some nursing background. Worker must be able to keep busy and take the initiative to see what needs to be done. Must have a vehicle and provide proof of training. Cell phone use on break/emergency calls only.
