NANNY/BABYSITTER NEEDED - part-time We are a loving Richmond family with three children ages 9, 8 and 4. We are looking for a part-time nanny/babysitter during the school week for approximately 10-15 hours per week. Hours would be Tuesdays from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. (this may vary slightly from time to time - for example 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.) and another weekday afternoon (potentially Thursday but can discuss schedule further with applicants). If possible, it would be great to have someone one or two mornings per week (7a.m. - 9 a.m. or 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. for example) but this is not an absolute necessity). We are looking for someone who is warm and patient; has experience with and is good with children; is trustworthy, consistent and responsible; creative and motivating. Childcare responsibilities would include the following: „X playing with the children/planning activities for them „X preparing family meals (dinner prep and some cooking) „X occasionally feeding the children „X if possible, picking up and dropping off children when needed „X helping with homework when needed „X supervising play dates „X facilitating/supervising children with their responsibilities (tidying room, bathroom, set , etc.) „X bathing and/or facilitating bathing or showering of children Housekeeping duties would include the following: „X cleaning the kitchen/maintaining tidiness „X running, emptying and loading the dishwasher „X cleaning counters „X sweeping floors „X take out garbage, recycling, compost when required „X unpacking groceries when needed „X children¡¦s laundry; towels and bedding and other linens „X tidying up main living areas and play areas „X other cleaning and/or projects on an as needed basis Please note that in most cases, not all three children would be home at the same time (most of the time this would be for two of our children).
