I will be returning to work in early April from my maternity leave and will require a full time nanny. My son will be 1 year at this time. I want a nanny who will treat and love him like he is their own and will become part of the family. We are a very relaxed, easy going family. He is a very active, happy boy and I want him to have a nanny that loves playing and helping him learn. I would love someone who does activities and day trips with him as well as gets him some interaction with other children. Some light housework would also be required; sweeping, laundry, tidying up toys, etc., as well as some grocery shopping and prepping supper. The day would generally be a 10 hour day, Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary, starting anywhere from 5:30am to 9:00am, with the latest shift ending at ~7:00pm. My son generally sleeps until 8:00am so if you were to live-in you could sleep until that time, listening for him on the monitor. I am flexible in that I can try to adjust my shifts around your schedule and can usually easily accommodate if you need a day off. A lot of experience is not necessary but I would like you to have First Aid and CPR. A driver’s license with your own vehicle is preferred; however it is not necessary if you choose the live-in position. If you choose to live-out, you must have a drivers license and a reliable vehicle to ensure you are here on time in the mornings. Wage will be around minimum wage or a monthly salary similar to that.
