We are looking for a responsible and very reliable caregiver for our happy daughter starting in May 2019. We would like to find someone available on Thursdays and every other Friday. Starting in June, we will need someone on Mondays too. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a genuine interest in children, their education and development. We are looking for someone positive, responsible and fun who will enjoy spending time with our little girl! The primary responsibility of this position is the supervision and care of our daughter in a thoughtful and caring manner including all the basics (feeding, dressing, bathing). We are looking for someone active, who will enjoy taking our daughter to the play gym, classes, park, beach, library and various outings throughout the city. You may occasionally be required to supervise a friend of hers on a play date. Our daughter attends preschool unril 11:45 the nanny would be responsible for pick up at 11:45 and staying with her until around 5:30. There may occasionally be an earlier start time at around 8:30 if I need to be at work early. This position will require some light housekeeping such as keeping the kitchen tidy, running and emptying the dishwasher, putting away our daughter's toys, laundry and emptying the trash and recycling. You will not be asked to do heavy cleaning. You may also be asked to run errands, grocery shop and do some light cooking or food prep. We are located in the West End of Vancouver, close to public transit. At least 2 years of nannying experience with toddlers is preferred. References are required and will be checked.
