Hello/bonjour, We are a warm and welcoming family that is active, healthy, and so very creative and playful. My two children are ages 3 and 5 years old. The eldest is attending FI morning Kindergarten at our community school and our daughter attends morning preschool once a week. They will both play community soccer beginnning in May. I am a part-time educational psychologist and am mostly at home with my children. I have a high standard for caregivers and support for my family. Our Mother's Helper during my last pregnancy was treated so well she became a real family friend and I am hopeful in finding the right match this time as well. In the past, I have become very ill, Princess Kate ill, with pregnancy (hyperemesis) and as we prepare to add another babe to our house hold we need to have a Mother's Helper/Nanny in place before we are expecting. This is proactive I know! In the past, I have needed help and been very ill in the late afternoon and evenings, especially around 3-6;30 pm when I am 4 to 12 weeks pregnant, as I tend to become more ill as I tire. When I am not pregnant, I am a long distance runner, enjoy yoga, soccer, and am very active. Pregnancy is just really tough on my body and we want to smooth the transition for our children and family. Specifically, we are looking for a caregiver to join our family (live out preferred) and provide childcare, light meal preparation and some cleaning (we can hire external cleaning support during the tough part of my pregnancy so the focus remains the children). There is potential to remain working with our family after babe arrives. This will be a full journey and I need someone who is kind, trustworthy, honest, responsible, organized, sets high standards for herself and is playful, active, enjoys outdoors, and models healthy choices. Education is highly valued in our home. We need someone who is capable of speaking and reading English well.
