Caregiver required now for one evening shift 7pm-11pm, and one am shift 7:30am-12 noon per week and these will be on days between Tuesday through and including Saturday. Hours for summer will be those same shifts (including evening) and will grow to 20-25 hours per week. Position may continue into next school term. This unique job is in a fun loving young ladies very quiet home..She walks a journey with special needs and medical challenges. You will be trained as careworker to follow and implement her preset music and movement, craft and activity daily program (cognitive age 2-6) in her suite (being outside is not conducive to her migraines so time is spent in her suite). Training will be provided for all aspects of this site specific position under direction of the site case manager. Diabetes knowledge is advantageous - but training will also be provided on this. You must be detail oriented and have strong computer skills for charting, job record keeping. We are looking for the right person with excellent work ethics willing to learn and assist with all aspects of her personal care, and ensuring her home keeps running......assisting with all daily functions, light housekeeping, craft/material prep, typing, food prep.....Including taking out the garbage.
