Hi, I am a single-dad living in West Vancouver. I have two daughters aged 11 and 13, looking for childcare on Mondays, Tuesdays and some Fridays for after school care to about 6:30pm. It would be until the end of the school year, then maybe resuming in September with more days/week. My younger daughter attends Capilano Elementary School (Grade 5) in North Vancouver, close to the Lion's gate bridge. She needs to be picked up there at 3pm. On Mondays you would ideally spend some time after school doing a fun activity, possibly back at home in West Van or at a nearby park, beach, etc. She is very creative, loves music, dance, art, fashion, etc. She is also very talkative! Her older sister attends West Van Secondary and walks home after school or spends time with friends. She just needs to be checked in with to ensure her wherabouts and plans are known, and also some follow up regarding homework. They are both really fun kids! On Mondays, I would leave something fairly easy to prepare for dinner and give you instructions. The younger one has an activity at 6pm that you would drive her to, and that would be the end of the day. On Tuesday after school she has a piano lesson nearby, and then gets taken home for some chill out time. I usually come home and make dinner and eat with them on Tuesdays by 6:30pm. They are with me on alternate Fridays and sometimes I take a short day to pick them up and hang out but other times I could use after school support. They are wonderful kids who really like spending time with someone who is fun, interesting, dynamic, etc.
