Hi We offer a wonderful working environment within our home. We have a separate beautiful studio suite completely furnished with full kitchen, private bathroom and separate entrance. We also provide a large, flat screen TV in the suite, cable, wi-fi and laundry. We live in the Gordon Head area, near UVIC and Gordon Head Rec Centre, on a direct bus route. We are looking for a nanny to help with our children (ages 5 & 2) and help around the house with full house cleaning (bathrooms, floors, dusting, laundry, change linens), meal planning, dinner preparation, baking, organizing, etc. We are looking for someone full time (40 hrs a week) with the ability to be flexible with the schedule (ie. sometimes working a few hours in the morning and then a few hours in the evening). Schedule will be discussed a week or 2 ahead of time but the ability to be flexible is required. This is a live in position and our expectation is that you will live in our home in the separate suite that would be for your personal use. We require someone who is experienced working with children, honest, reliable, mature, trustworthy and hard working. Being organized and a good cook is a definite plus. Compensation is $12/hour plus free rent, laundry and food while working. We are currently in process of obtaining the LMIA and willing to sponsor under this program for someone currently in Canada. Ideally we would like to find someone who wants to be apart of our family. Driver's license not required but preferred.
