We're seeking a nanny for my nieces who are aged 2 and 6. Ideally, we'd like someone who could start at 6/6:30 in the morning, get the 6yr old dressed, fed and ready for school, bring her to school, do some housekeeping, and look after the 2 year old until after lunch. We're flexible in the afternoons. If you'd like the afternoon off, their grandparents can take over their care after lunch. Alternatively, if you'd like to extend your hours, you could pick the 6 year old up from school, help with homework, reading and take the girls out to play or on excursions after school. We are an English speaking family, but the 6 year old is in a French immersion programme, so we would welcome a nanny fluent in either or both of those languages. You'll have use of one of the family cars. This can be a live-in or live-out role. Special circumstances: The girls' mother took care of them every day until recently. Sadly, she is now terminally ill, so we want to engage someone who is prepared to help the girls through a difficult time, and who intends to stay with us long term, after their mother passes, in order to give them some stability. Their mother has a healthcare support worker, so the role would be to focus solely on the girls. Start date: as soon as possible.
