Live-in care required for our 92 yr. woman. Applicants must have elder care training and minimum one year experience. Driver’s license is an asset but not required. Senior is in good health, walks mostly with a walker or cane, is able to drive, and is mentally competent. She currently spends two days per week (weekends) on her own, with support from family or hourly caregivers, and has live-in care for the remaining five days. Applicants must be reliable, responsible, provide companionship and maintain safety and comfort in the home. The caregiver will be responsible for monitoring medications, assisting with daily tasks as needed, and ensuring the home is clean and secure. The caregiver will also be responsible for general housekeeping, including preparing meals, making beds, doing the laundry, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, keeping living areas clear and tidy, and some light gardening. The caregiver will also accompany senior on shopping trips or going to appointments. The caregiver has her own bedroom and bathroom.
