Hello, I am a 33-year-old stay-at-home mother of two girls (6&3). I am looking for an occasional babysitter for weekends (day to early evening or part days) and am also hoping to volunteer at my child's school a bit more so some daytime (8-3) or part days for appointments. Normally grandparents watch them but recent, long-term changes have made this difficult. My husband often works away from home for long periods of time and sometimes a girl just needs a break from her kids! My kids love crafts, going to nearby parks, having picnics, playing in their backyard. Some days it may be just the 3-year-old and some days both children. Some basic things I would like: - just being playful and attentive - having your own car would be great but not an asset, I can pick you up. - making kids meals, easy stuff like mac 'n' cheese and sandwiches or more if you're comfortable. I love cooking so my pantry is usually WELL stocked to make anything and I'm happy to stock with your favs too. - keeping main areas kids use tidy - I would pay more if more intensive housework (vacuuming, floor washing etc) is something you'd opt for. - being okay with our small dog and super basic dog care (he's soft and friendly and loving) If you're a teen and have some experience and can't do days I'd still consider just for weekend or early evening help. If you're a mom who wants some extra cash, but I do prefer in my homes. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Pay is negotiable. One thing to consider is that I also have a 19-year-old step daughter who is sometimes around but she is not interested in babysitting. She mostly stays in her room if she's home but if you neeed a hand she'd be there.
