The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day housekeeping to ensure residences (SW Calgary and South of Calgary) are maintained at a high standard of cleanliness at all times. This position will work within a larger housekeeping team and property team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Dusting and washing surfaces, counters, rooms, hallways, restrooms, stairways and all other areas of all properties; • Vacuum properties twice or more daily pending time of year and foot traffic throughout • Sweep, scrub and mop floors; • Washing inside and outside of household windows; • Dust furniture and equipment (workout gym etc.), disinfect surfaces; • Polish silver/copper/brass accessories, silverware and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings etc.; • Hand polish and machine buff wood, stone and marble floors as needed; • Polish brass vents and oil metal fixtures; • Wash, iron, steam, fold clothing, linen and any other items required; • Spot check/clean rugs, carpets, and/or draperies; • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, ovens, cooking utensils, and silverware; • Scrub/clean outside BBQ, counters and any other surrounding cooking units; • Make beds, tidy bedrooms and bathrooms ensuring garbage is emptied daily; • Change bed linens every week or promptly after a single use; • Assist with proper settings when requested; • Attention to detail while maintaining household duties; • Ensure all duties and errands are completed in a timely and efficient manner; • Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: To meet the challenges of this role, the ideal candidate must be energetic and have excellent communication skills. Superb attention to detail is absolutely necessary for this position to be successful. Individuals will be required to successfully complete a criminal, credit and driving backcheck process. Other requirements include: • Ability to follow instructions diligently in a respectful and professional manner, remember establishing process and procedures; • Able to work evenings, weekends, special events, special projects when required; • Trustworthy and ethical in character and personality; • Required to successfully complete a criminal, credit and driving background-check process; • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs; • Must have a valid driver’s license and provide own reliable transportation to the various properties for work; • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and perform repetitive motions for up to 8 hours; • Must be service orientated, professional, courteous and accommodating to employers and co-workers; • Must be adaptable and flexible; • Superb attention to detail; • Ability to work independently or as a team; • Possess a good attitude; • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Possess a strong work ethic.
