Position: Caregiver for 2 Children Terms of Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week Wage: $15 per hour Benefits: MSP premium paid and two weeks vacation per year Start Date: July 2017 Term: 2 years, may be extended upon mutual agreement Searching for full-time caregiver for our two children, ages 2 and 4. The position can be either live-in or live-out. Job Duties: - Provide exemplary care for two children ensuring a safe, fun and healthy environment at all times - Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children - Instruct and assist children with personal hygiene and grooming - Participate in activities with the children such as reading, art, crafts, games, sports, etc. - Perform housekeeping duties for the household including laundry, weekly cleaning and meal preparation - Drive children to and from school and/or other activities Required Skills and Education - High school graduation and childcare certificate - First aid and CPR training specific to children - Minimum of 2 years caregiver experience - Reliable, excellent communication skills, sound judgement, energetic, positive attitude & organizational skills - Criminal Record Check - BC Driver's License Additional Information: - Live-in (optional) accommodations include a private, furnished bedroom; private bathroom, internet access and cable television.
