We are a loving, busy family in Burlington looking for a nanny/housekeeper for our six-month old child, and to help with housekeeping when not watching our child. We hope to find a loving, nurturing and trustworthy guardian for our child in our absence, and someone who will manage the majority of the housekeeping tasks. We'd like to find someone able to work during weekday hours, but flexibility is required. Major Responsibilities • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child • Supervise the child’s activities at all times • Plan and prepare meals, and feed the child • Change diapers, dress and bathe child • Place the child down for naps and bedtime • Play with the child, both indoors and outdoors • Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the child • Perform full housekeeping duties for family including tidying, cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishes, organizational tasks, meal prep • Run errands, pick up groceries if required • Housekeeping duties to be performed part-time, nanny duties to be performed part-time to create a full-time work schedule Job Qualifications and Requirements · Experience caring for infants and toddlers · Police check · Class G Driver’s license · Authorization to work in Canada · Physical ability to care for a young child · Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision · Flexibility in schedule, position requires mainly day hours, but some evenings and weekends · Comfortable with a super cute large dog Compensation - $18-20 hourly - Cell phone paid - Use of cars - Paid vacation time - Expense account - Potential for health benefits - Annual performance bonus - Quarterly nanny spa days
