My mother is 94 and living with us here in Kelowna (Crawford area) in a self-contained basement suite in our home. She recently had a fall and after convalescing in Cottownwoods 'Path to Home' ward, is now back at home. I am looking at getting her some home help during the day. She is actually quite healthy for 94, but she is getting a bit frail and forgetful, and occasionally wobbly, but is really doing pretty darn well for her age, and loves being at home with us and her two cats. I was looking for someone to come in maybe 2-4 hours per day (thinking around 12 - 3 maybe?) as a combination of company, home support, etc. (visit with her, help put on compression socks, do light housework or laundry, help with litterbox, cook her lunch, play cards, those kinds of things).
