We are looking for an experienced live-out nanny/child care provider for our two young boys starting this coming November. At that time the boys will be 1 year old and 2.5 years old. Ideally we are looking for a childcare provider with significant experience with young children, who is at least 20 years of age, someone who can transport themselves to and from our home and someone who is very reliable, responsible and caring. We would require someone who can prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for the boys, take care of general home tidiness, and be motivated to play, read to, and facilitate fun experiences with our children. We are in need of child care from 7:30 am until 4pm Monday - Thursday (there may be a few days here and there that we need childcare until 5pm) and on Fridays from 7:30 until 2pm. The position would begin November 1, 2017 and continue for the remainder of the school year, at least. We would be interested in continuing the contract through next school year as well and could discuss continuing a part-time arrangement throughout the summer. We are both teachers and as such, during regular school holidays we would not require child care but are willing to pay a consistent monthly salary instead of an hourly wage. The following qualifications and checks are mandatory: - First Aid and CPR - Criminal Record Check - Child Welfare Check Formal education in Early Childhood Education and/or Child & Youth Care would also be an asset.
