We are a very busy household with triplet almost-7-year-olds and a 4 year old. We are looking for a punctual, energetic, reasonable, motivated and caring childcare provider to work Monday through Friday, from 11:15am to 6:15pm. We require weekly grocery shopping, daily dinner + lunch prep, pet care and light housekeeping. Possibility of additional hours for PD Days, March Break and summer vacation. Our parenting philosophy is centred around play - outdoors as much as possible - respect for child and parent, encouragement, empowerment and creativity. We treat our caregivers as valued role-models and childcare professionals. You must have a valid drivers' license, CPR certification and a valid police check. Candidates with specialized training (ECE, Child & Youth Worker, etc) will be given additional consideration. Recent references are required. We are offering the right candidate a one year contract at $16 an hour, three paid sick days, statutory holiday pay and two weeks paid vacation. We cover EI/CPP contributions.
