We are looking for a nanny who can have lots of fun with our amazing kids! We are 2 families. One family has 3 boys ages 7, 5 and 2.5. The 5 year old starts kindergarten in September 2018. Pick up and drop off at the boy’s school is required. The 2nd family has 2 girls ages 10 and 7. The girls go to a different school and are transported there and back by their grandfather. The 7 year old girl is special needs (Epilepsy and Autism) and will melt your heart the minute you meet her. Care for the girls is after school (a couple of days a week) plus a full day for the 7 year old girl if she needs the day to rest after having a bad night or seizure etc. The only time you will have all 5 kids will be some days after school, Pro-D days and Holidays (Spring break, Summer break and Christmas break etc). The 10 year old girl is very mature for her age and will be more of a helper. These 5 kids have been together in daycare since they all first started daycare and our need for a nanny has arose as our beloved daycare is closing in January 2018. Hours would be Monday to Friday from 7:15am to 4:30pm Qualifications: • Fluent English (Both written and spoken) is mandatory, French is an asset but not a requirement (Boys go to a French immersion school). • First aid (seizure first aid will be provided as she does not follow typical seizure protocol) • Experience with special needs while is not mandatory is a huge asset (training will be required if no experience and would be provided) • Must be a good swimmer (One of the family has an in-ground pool) • Comfortable with animals (One family has 1 dog and 2 cats) • BC Drivers license in good standing with a reliable vehicle is required • Criminal record search with vulnerable sector search Salary is negotiable
