Do you love to play with children? Do kids make you laugh and can they keep your attention? We are a family with a 2 and a 4 year old son and daughter who are looking for someone to come be our mother helper two days per week while we work from home. Apply ONLY if you meet the ALL of the following requirements: -5 years or more of experience working for a family other than your own -late twenties onwards -able to be fully engaged with the children - no mobile phones allowed on the job. We are a mostly screen free family. -willing to play outdoors in ALL weather -interact with the children in an attentive and loving manner -can keep up with light housework and cooking -can drive and are willing to do a driving test with the parents -strong references from at least two families -knowledge of gentle parenting -knowledge of waldorf/steiner education -like to sing and dance and be silly -is responsible and thoughtful in the care of children and family items -willing to go through a one month trial period consisting of multiple interviews and play observations -perfectly fluent in English. Children are fully billingual in both french and english but mother prefers to communicate with caregiver in English -willing to get a criminal record check and attend a paid for child first aid course Note, there may be an opportunity to work with a second family on the other three days of the week that you are not with us as we know of another family looking for part time care as well.
