We are looking for a part-time nanny to care for our one-year-old little girl in our home between two and four days per week. I will be returning to work on August 14th from my maternity leave, and we have family who will be helping us out through this transition time, but are looking for someone that we can count on over the longer term. We feel that our baby is still too young to be left in a daycare, and it is very important to us that we find someone with experience and shared values who we are able to trust. We are looking for someone who will take our daughter and our dog (mid-sized Lab-poodle cross) on daily nature walks; who values healthful and homemade food; who will play, talk, and create with her; and who is happy to facilitate socialization with other children. We value physical activity, playing, reading, music, and creating, and we don't think that screens are appropriate for infants. As she still naps a lot, we are looking for someone who is also able to do some housekeeping and meal prep.
