We are currently looking for an energetic, active, and fun nanny who is a team player and willing to become part of our crazy family :) We've worked with some great nannies over the past year but unfortunately they are all returning to school or no longer have time to work with us. THE POSITION: I am currently on maternity leave and seeking a nanny/housekeeper who can assist with a 6 month old and 2yr old while my husband works out of town. The ideal person will help keep the place clean (tidy kitchen, floors, toys, garbage) and look after my 6 month old while I take my son to music and gymnastics classes (she will mostly be sleeping). Time will also be spent with my son as I run errands and take some "me" time. The part-time position is 4 days a week (mon, tues, weds, thurs) from 9am - 1pm. Days and times are somewhat negotiable. RESPONSIBILITIES: Although we are big believers in free play, we would like someone who is self motivated and takes initiative to do the following: - Plan daily crafts and activities (we are more than happy to buy supplies and have lots available) - Venture outdoor daily to nearby parks (min 1hr outside EVERY DAY - dress for weather) - No more than 30min of screen time - Meal prep for snacks and lunch - Cleaning of toys and kids area - Babysit infant for no more than 2hrs at a time - Household cleaning including vacuuming, sweeping, tidy kitchen, garbage We live in a great neighborhood near UofC/ SAIT with lots of parks - our little guy loves being outside! He's very active and loves crafts and problem solving activities - he will definitely keep you busy but is very well behaved. Sometimes I will be home working so we will be spending time together therefore would like someone who's open to being "part of our family" and can become very comfortable in our household, trustworthy, and collaborative for taking care of the children.
