Our family is looking for a full time Nanny/Housekeeper for our three children, beginning as soon as possible. We have 3 sweet, busy, loving boys: ages 11, 9 and 6. All 3 of our children are in school full time until the summer break. So we are looking for someone to care for them before and after school, and look after housekeeping duties during the day while they are gone. During the school year, hours of work will be a total of 35 per week (average of 7 hours per day), between 8am - 5:30pm, with a 2.5 hour break in the middle of the day. We are flexible on how the hours are worked and willing to discuss how the time can be distributed. Childcare duties will include: - Before school: get the children washed, dressed and onto the school bus at 8:45am - After school: get the children off the of the school bus, give them some down time before supper, feed them supper at 5pm, prepare their school lunch for the following day. Watching our little dog during the day, letting him outside, replenishing water as needed. Housekeeping duties include: - making beds and tidying rooms each morning - Keeping the kitchen clean - laundry and ironing - Cooking meals and making school lunches for the children - generally house cleaning on a weekly basis including dusting, vacuuming and washing floors - cleaning 2.5 bathrooms We stress respect, manners, and treating each other with love in our household. We believe in discipline and mutual respect and value our Nanny as part of our family. The children understand that the Nanny is in charge, and respect her as they would their parents. We are happy to discuss accommodations should you require it, but are only in a position to hire someone who is eligible to work in Canada.
