Looking for a reliable, responsible, fun-loving and caring caregiver for my two little boys. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience as a nanny or full-time caregiver to young children (preferably having cared for at least two children). You will have your own transportation, a clear driving record (no accidents), be a strong swimmer and a desire to work closely with our family and become accustomed to the kids routine. We are looking for an energetic and fun-loving person to get involved and play with the kids and encourage their sense of adventure. You must be comfortable enforcing rules and helping to redirect negative energy that comes with the wonderful 2's (toddler years)! You enjoy teaching children new things, reading, roll playing, singing and encouraging communication and learning thru daily activities. You enjoy an active lifestyle and being outdoors, rain or shine - it is important to us that these kids get outside whenever possible and enjoy the fresh air. You're not afraid to jump in when something needs to be done or get your hands dirty. Nutrition and structure is important to you. You're willing to take the kids to programs within Salmon Arm (gymnastics, strong start, preschool etc). You are interested and willing to partake in light housekeeping duties as required. I will return to work in the spring and will need reliable coverage on a set schedule 2-3 days per week. If I find the right person, this position could become full-time.
