I am seeking an energetic and affectionate childcare provider to care for my 1 and 3 year old on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM in our Cathedral/Crescents home. Start date would be September 2014. My ideal candidate would be a retired teacher, mother and/or post-secondary student who has experience working with infants and toddlers. Salary is $100 a day (but is negotiable based on education and/or experience). Qualifications • First aid certification and CPR • Clear criminal record check • Passionate about child development and playful learning • Experience working with toddlers and/or children Duties • Supervise and care for our child in our home • Oversee our child’s activities, such as meals and rest periods • Maintain a safe and healthy environment • Tend to the emotional well-being of our child and support their social and educational development • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outdoor activities • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child Comments Single-child family in the Cathedral/Crescents area seeking a post-secondary student (ideally of Early Child Education) who is passionate about toddlers and playful learning to care for our potty-trained two-year old. We require childcare at our home from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursdays, from April 3, 2013 to August 29, 2013. Salary is negotiable. We would like someone who is certified in CPR, can provide us with a criminal record check, and has experience working with toddlers.
