I need a long-term, full-time day nanny for day shifts 8:00 am to 2:30 pm to start on September 1 or August 31. My babies are now attaching to the caregiver, so I want a serious, career nanny who can become familiar and close to my children for years until they go to kindergarten. They will not be going to daycare. Currently you will work 6 mornings a week 8 am to 2:30 pm: Mondays, to Fridays, plus half a day on the weekend. This half day on the weekend is flexible. But I need you to commit to a schedule that is reliable every week. This is close to 40 hours per week - a full-time job. I expect you to be fully rested every time you work. Because you will start so early, I would prefer someone who lives close by - no more than 50 minutes-1 hour by public transit. My babies are now 14 months old. They are preemies and act more like 11-month-olds. Experience with infants of this age is a must. Experience with twins would also be good. You will live-out. Pay will be competitive and will reflect your qualifications. The salary I quote is gross and not necessarily your take home pay. When the babies are sleeping you will do light housework: the laundry for the babies, general cleaning of the nursery area including floor sweeping and washing, general cleaning of the feed preparation area of the kitchen and sometimes cooking of baby food.
